"Choose your favorite character and prepare for battle"
League of Legends, or LoL for short, is an online strategy game based on the more famous Warcraft III. As soon as you see the battle field, you’ll be reminded of the characters from that game, along with a setting that is almost identical to the Blizzard edition. The basic concept of the game is similar to other PC strategy games: choose your favorite character from dozens of heroes and fight in real time with your friends or against other players online.
You will be the summoner, and you can summon you’re your heroes, each with their own unique abilities and different equipment options. In each battle, all summoners begin with their chosen character, all at level 0. As you kill the characters of other summoners or monsters that appear on the map, you will get gold and experience points.
The goal in League of Legends is to destroy the enemy base, although there is another mode that involves capturing the most turrets in a given timeframe. You can compete in leagues along with your friends in order to rise above and compete with the best teams all over the world for honor, glory and bragging rights. Who could resist?
